Very Clean hotel rooms, great views of the beach. Extremely large resort, well worth the price. We did not choose all inclusive because we wanted to try different food. The one time we ate at the restaurant the food was flavorless, they offered to make quesadillas and they were delicious. Somebody did puke in the pool and nobody seemed to want to clean it out. Everyone was very helpful. Checking in was a bit of a hassle and the lines were long with no airflow so that was aggravating. It would be nice if they had larger fans or AC in the lobby to make it more comfortable for employees and guests as it was very hot and uncomfortable. I will be back at another location Puerto Vallarta is not a city for me.

I would have loved to give this more stars and struggled to give it two. Food was awful!!!. The only reason to buy the all inclusive is for the alcohol, although you can purchase it cheap at the store right in front of the resort. Bring your own wash cloths!! Silly but they don’t have any. Learn common Spanish phrases!! They barely speak English. They will hustle and hassle you every morning to buy a vacation package. Really annoying!! Checking in AND checking out is a NIGHTMARE!!! The lines wrap around and there’s only 1-3 staff helping. Their systems and processes are outdated so prepare to wait in the heat. Only one pool bar that is so busy! You’ll be waiting in line for a while. At the beach and even while you’re swimming, people will try to sell you stuff. It’s annoying! DON’T use USD. Convert your $$ to pesos or only use your card. Other than that, it’s pretty standard room. You have to pay for bottles of water. They only give you 2 to start. There’s no microwave. People are friendly for the most part. I would NOT stay here again.

We are here now! David and Gladys are fabulous :) staff are great. We love Paul at the Gray line if you ever need help with anything at all he is your man! Hotel is a little outdated but the service made up for it. Happy to finish our stay here

This place should be considered a 1 star resort. They definitely don’t cater to Canadians or Americans. It’s more for the locals now. The view is about the only thing good about this place. What a horrible experience we had staying at the Krystal with our 6 month old infant. Came home with an infection on my foot from the unsanitary and disgusting conditions of this place. The staff were not accommodating at all. The food was absolutely horrible. The burgers were RAW, I thought going to Mexico id get tacos and guacamole and salsa they did not have any of that. I won’t recommend this place to my worst enemy. Even though the price was good, AVOID THIS PLACE!!!

Great value with beach access and convenient bars located near the beach. The food was the only thing I didn't particularly care for, I was hoping for some more traditional Mexican dishes with a little bit more flavor. The all-inclusive drinks were nice and I could acquire a drink pretty much at all hours of the day staffed by friendly bartenders. The room was sufficient but it was a little cold and sometimes in the morning you could hear music in the distance at early hours. My kids also enjoyed themselves in the shallow pool next to the restaurant near the beach, they also have an Infinity pool and another pool with a decent water side. For the price I paid I was happy with my stay.

The hotel offers the bare minimum. It's a place forgotten in the 1980s. The all-inclusive is a waste, very few options to eat, only two buffets with pretty much the same options, and one pasta dinner with very limited options. The best option to dinner is yet another buffet themed as a Mexican-kermes, a kind of festival, although the food is not too good they offer music, recorded or live, for you to dance. The personal is, with a few exceptions, not customer advocates, not even to say hi when you encounter them. The sea is not recommended to swim for safety reasons but, if you still do it none is going to stop you as they are short on personnel and none is watching the beach. Finally, the gym is falling apart, missing parts, not functioning equipment, no thread mill. Get your workout in another way. If you opt for the basic stay with no food it may be a good deal as the zone has good options to eat out

My fiancé and I stayed here for about a week, and the services were amazing. Super friendly and informative staff. If we needed to get somewhere, they would give directions and easiest way to get around. The food is delicious in the mornings! I recommend the pumpkin flower omelettes. They also have an evening restaurant with different dishes each night with live authentic Mexican bands playing! The beach is beautiful and clean - one of the best sunsets I’ve seen. So much to do in a week, we will be back for sure.

Not sure who these people are talking about. Super friendly service. Marco, Diego, Hugo, Brenda to name a few were hugely efficient with our check in, bar and restaurant service and so forth. Rooms are clean, access is great, downtown and airport are close. Surf is a bit rough but no more so than most. I'll go again

Es muy grande en terreno e instalaciones, el personal es amable a excepción de 1 recepcionista que ni nombre me dio, la que es súper amable es Bárbara, para ser considerado de 5 estrellas le falta cuidado en su playa, la pantalla de la habitación es muy pequeña y tiene muy mala imagen, deberían modernizarse en esa parte, la llave del lavabo que está en la sala todo el tiempo tuvo fuga.

Todo más o menos bien, peeeeeroooo te cobran el estacionamiento cuando te hospedas,no había meseros en el área de alberca ni playa, los vasos son desechables y el personal va y los recolecta para volverlos a usar en plena pandemia entonces para que son desechables?? y cuando se acaban simplemente te dicen que compres un termo 😖😖, lo único que estuvo súper bien fueron las habitaciones y los baños de la alberca supero limpios

Horrible resort! Don’t waste your money. Would not recommend at all!! The pictures make this hotel look great but it looks waaaaay different when you get there! Save your money an go else where! - check in an check out take forever!!! -the room walls are so thin, you can literally hear everything. They start cleaning around 6am an it sounds like things are being pushed an shuffled the whole time making it hard to sleep.. they also come banging on our door around 7 am then just walked right in while we were sleeping.. - staff is extremely rude. -I called an asked if the restaurant’s were open an they said the hotel was running with everything open an it wasn’t. They only had the buffet open everyday. - the snack bar had horrible food, they threw left over hot dogs on the pizza the next day.. watered down cheese for nachos. Wasn’t good at all.. - we ordered a bedroom with 2 beds an got one king so we had to go back an have them correct it. - while on a tour(OUR LAST DAY) 2 of our wristbands were lost. They tried to charge us $60 for new wristbands when we left the following morning.. that was an argument to convince them that we wouldn’t give our wristbands to anyone, the food and service was horrible. Why would we give someone wristbands for this??.... -seemed like everyday there was a problem. -the resort shuts down EARLY!!! all the lights are off at 7pm. So even sitting on the beach walking back up is so pitch black. There’s also no spa. - there’s only one bar open during the day an it’s by the pool where you have to wait in like for over 15 mins to get a drink. We ended up going to the Hilton next door as the crown royal an paid to use their facilities during the day because this resorts sucked. It was over ran with kids In the pool splashing so you couldn’t even enjoy a drink in the pool, annnn they have no known liquor. It’s all off the wall names that I’ve never heard of before an I work at a cantina where we specialize in tequila an I didn’t know not one brand! I’d give it 0 stars if I could!

Un lugar con un aspecto adecuado para la zona y bien ubicado, a pesar de la situación (COVID) ha sido uno de los mejores hoteles donde me he hospedado, cuenta con agua caliente, servicio al cuarto, y su plan todo incluido cumple al 100, agradezco personalmente la atención de los meseros Aaron, Raul y Carlos pues estuvieron al pendiente de mi familia, pero en general todo el personal fue muy amable, tal vez el internet sea lento, pero sinceramente es de esperarse por la cantidad de usuarios conectados lo cual, en lo personal, es irrelevante, Felicidades y espero volver pronto, lo recomiendo Totalmente

Altamente recomendado.Meu parceiro e eu fomos logo depois do Natal para o Ano Novo. O resort estava bastante movimentado, mas a maioria é mexicana de outros lugares do país. Eles realmente apreciam o turismo na América do Norte, então você é tratado como a realeza.Tivemos uma ótima semana de sol, areia e relaxamento.Tão perto do aeroporto!Tudo é limpo e higienizado e os funcionários estão sempre usando máscaras. Você tem que usar uma máscara em espaços comuns - andando de um lugar para outro - mas não enquanto estiver na praia, piscina ou comendo sentado.Fale com Alex no saguão sobre excursões. Ele foi honesto e ajudou a reservar viagens de 3 dias, e nos divertimos muito.Comida era apenas ok. Sem bacon no café da manhã. E os jantares tendem para a culinária mexicana mais local, mas a lanchonete tem hambúrgueres incríveis.

El Hotel está bonito y bien ubicado, pero la atencion en recepción no es de lo mejor, llegue el sábado en la noche y no me explicaron bien lo que contenia la reservacion, el cuarto estaba aparentemente limpio el primer dia pero la mesa se notaba que tenia dias sin limpiarse, por lo tanto no estaba sanitizada la habitación además la puerta del baño no sirve y el segundo dia tuve que llamar 3 veces para que fueran a hacer la limpieza, no me cambiaron las toallas, no dejaron papel, shampoo y la mesa siguió sucia, por otro lado el menú es muy básico y repetitivo aunque con buen sazón.En general lo recomiendo si es la unica opción pero no para un viaje planeado

Only stayed one night. Beautiful views from 15th floor. All staff was nice and courteous I was not on an all inclusive stay but I think this place is a good place for families but might not appeal to someone looking for a close bar or club on site. I do not agreewith the one star reviews that I read prior to checking in.Do your research on location amenities.Uber is cheap and reliable. Most staff speak english here.

Highly recommend. My partner and I went right after Christmas for New Years. The resort was quite busy, but it’s mostly Mexicans from other places around the country. They really appreciate North American tourism, so you’re treated like royalty. We had a great week full of sun, sand and much needed relaxation. So close to the airport! Everything is clean and sanitized and the staff are always wearing masks. You have to wear a mask in common spaces - walking from place to place - but not while at at the beach, pool or seated eating. Talk to Alex in the lobby about excursions. He was honest and helped up book 3 days trips, and we had a blast. Food was just ok. No bacon for breakfast. And the dinners lean towards more local Mexican cuisine, but the snack bar has amazing burgers.

Absolutely loved it here. Staff is sooo nice. Music on the weekends and food is different every night. Hotel has people who offer tours and if you have kids and want to do something g for adults only, they have camp krystal.

Where should I started, when we got there no one received us. We unload our luggage from our Uber and went to the reception. After waiting for several minutes (3 agents behind the desk all looking at their computer) one of them acknowledge us and waive us down. He assigned us a room and offer us to have dinner at the restaurant. We got to the room and found it in not the best condition. Furniture is old and stained smells funny. Bed is one of the worst beds I have slept in. Tv has a bad connection not able to watch anything. Safety box is locked and not bolted down. There is dirt on walls just not well kept. Our first night at the restaurant was very disappointed food is the worst I have had in a long time. Over all this is just not worth it

Stayed as an all inclusive guest. First off I will say that all staff were amazing, helpful and at most times prompt with service.Room we got was unexpected and had kitchen area and a private pool. It had that authentic Mexican vibe which we were happy with. The pool was only cleaned twice on our trip by staff. I had to play pool boy and clean it out myself daily. Also we only got the complimentary water on 4/7 days. Other than that room cleaned and bed made daily.The main pool areas were amazing, clean with great views.Breakfast probably the best meal of the day. All other meals were very mediocre. If you want authentic meals there are places a short walk away or just hop on the bus and head downtown.Don't get fooled by the "Fancy reservation only" Italian restaurant. It's a dark dreary room that looks like it was just transformed into a make shift restaurant. We dressed up looked at Menu and left to go to a place off resort.Almost impossible to get a spot near the pool as you need to get there at 7:30am. If you want a towel you better be early because they have a limited supply. As an all inclusive guest I got towels on 2 of the 7 days. I was told there were none, then some guests give some sort of "coupon" and magically there are towels.Like I said staff were amazing no complaints on that end. The resort is amazing, clean and has great views. If food was better I'd probably still give this place a 3 star.Adios amigo. I will definitely be back to PV in the future

The food at this place is DISGUSTING!!! Check in and checkout was nightmare ! so slow . We stayed at new tower which was clean and our room has a nice ocean view and the funniest part is you can only have 2 small bottle of water daily No more ! IMAGINE IT IS ALL INCLUSIVE HOTEL ! The beachfront buffet should be closed down it is so dirty and contaminated with bird germs and pop. I have never eaten at such a gross place. Would not recommend this place to anyone, how it has such good reviews I will never understand and the hotel only comments on the good reviews !

Great service! Awesome room! Great pools & beach access, safe for a quick dip! Bus services $10 pesos to downtown. In between 2 Beautiful malls for a "mental" break. ❤️🇲🇽 Tower 1 comfortably modern. Absolutely awful place to stay.... the food is disgusting. The check in process took over an hour and a half of waiting in line. The WiFi doesn’t work. It was quicker to walk up 10 flights of stairs then it was to wait 10 minutes for the Elevator. People running down the halls screaming at 3:30am. It’s impossible to relax in the beach with people coming up to you every 30 seconds trying to sell something. I wish I would have stayed anywhere but here it’s the 3rd place I’ve stayed and wish I could go anywhere else

An absolutely terrible hotel. The front desk at check in gave us the wrong room number and no paperwork, there’s not actually a 21st floor but we we’re told 2106... what they actually meant was 2116 and on floor 1116. How are you supposed to know they don’t have a 21st floor if they give you a room number of 2216... This got dealt with by manager after 45 mins of complaining at front desk finally. Later on in the evening I went down to front desk (very far from my room) hoping to get a few bottles of water and no luck, they said they would send 2 to my room (very small bottles). I called and asked for more and they said no. Travelling to a country where you can’t drink tap water, I expect that I should either get to go to a restaurant and get water or that room service should be able to bring me more than 2 tiny bottles for double occupancy. Very unhappy overall with the hotel, you get what you pay for here for sure. Would never stay here again and I hope if this review makes a difference for others, it pushes you to pick somewhere else. PV is beautiful and I am sure there are better hotels who treat their guests properly
