Excellent hotel- I greatly enjoyed my stay. Staff is very nice, in-hotel restaurant has incredible food as well. Breakfast bacon is not really cooked in my opinion, but there are plenty of options there for breakfast. I would give 5 stars, but the internet was out while I was here, which was a significant inconvenience to my stay. Also, the pool is under renovation as of my writing this, but once it is complete I'm sure this hotel would be totally deserving of a 5 star rating from me.

Location. There was plenty for us to get to that was relatively close considering we had a vehicle. Bed and pillows were soft and comfortable. Water was hot. The hotel is doing renovations but it didn’t interfere with our stay. The pool was not open during this time. This will be my go to hotel when I visit Ft. Lauderdale again.

The room was nice, lots of space and clean. The toilet was crazy loud when flushing and filling up. You can hear everything that goes on outside your door. They have a beautiful foyer, very welcoming. Staff was great. Professional and polite with emphasis on customer service. Could have offered free breakfast. Overall, it was a good 2 day stay. We would return.

Absolutely wonderful experience!! I never give this high of a rating on anything.! I had to stay for 10 days. I’m around nice to places nothing is like home and having your own control over your own surroundings. Two staff members made it absolutely wonderful hair! I even wrote the gentleman who oversees the Marriotts in the area and told him what a wonderful place he has one wonderful staff he has! It was a pleasure!

After finding out our previous accommodation was canceled around midnight, we called Marriott to see if we could make an accommodation for us. We would have arrived at 3am and leave by checkout time. They said it was possible but the fee would be the same as a full length day. So we made the reservation on the phone and gave the credit card number. When we arrived there was no reservation anywhere in the system for us. Thankfully they gave us a walk-in at the same price, but it could have been trouble if we arrived to a fully booked hotel. We got into our room and it appeared to be clean. But walking into the bathroom we found mold or mildew all over in the grout of the shower. The sink has residue building up at the top side of the spout. If this is what we saw at a quick glance, I can't imagine what we would have found if we did a closer inspection. Called front desk and they placed us in another room. It still wasn't the best for the money that we paid, but at least we weren't as concerned for our health. Check out was a smooth process.

Os funcionários são espetaculares, educados e prestativos. O Hotel precisa de uma remodelada, mas é bom. A localização é boa pra quem quer ficar aí norte de Fort Lauderdale, pois é distante do centro. Reverberi que a qualidade do pessoal já vale a hospedagem

The room was very nice and presentable. Hotel staff was friendly and inviting besides 1 front desk woman who when I asked where the lounge was she assumed I wasn’t a elite member and refused to tell me even tho I told her I’m elite. 1 person I would like to point out for going above and beyond every morning during my 2 week stay was cecailia. She runs the lounge on the 15 floor. She is always inviting and kind and makes sure you have everything you need when you are in her presence and her presentation of the room and feed is superb. She never leaves dirty dishes or empty food trays out she is on top of it. Her quality of work is held to a person high standard and I thank her for that.

Stayed here with my family for 2 nights while in the Fort Lauderdale area. The hotel is a bit outdated but they did do some renovations to upkeep the hotel. Beds/pillows were comfortable and the staff was extremely nice. Unfortunately I found a dirty sock rolled up in a ball by the bed from a previous guest. Also I found a dirty towel in the bathroom. It makes you wonder if the room was cleaned well while there’s a virus around. Also while I was leaving my room after the first night the cleaners asked if I was checking out I told them not today. I was expecting to Return to new towels and rags but they didn’t enter the room. I was a bit disappointed with the cleaners.

The staff! I’m amazed at what a wonderful job the staff does, couldn’t ask for better folks to be with while away from home. Ashley, Tatiana, Teran, as well as some others have gone above and beyond to make my stay feel like home away from home! Mina and Melania, who are servers in the restaurant are kind, wonderful people. Assistant manager Jason is doing a fantastic job as well. These exemplary human beings made a difficult situation that I am dealing with, a little more bearable just by being warm and welcoming!

POOL IS CLOSED FOR RENOVATIONS! Unfortunately, you don't learn this until you've booked a non refundable room. Manager refuses to answer calls. Book with AAA membership so you can get a refundable room same rate. Equal distance from Ft. Lauderdale Beach and Pompano Beach (18 minutes). Clean, modern, comfortable rooms. Breakfast not included but a couple restaurants and a Starbucks in hotel. There is a good diner across the street to the left.

Front Desk Service is Warm & Welcoming! Gets busy on the weekends, thought it would be dead since it's in a corporate area, but no. If this location had a pool, it would be a party spot. The furnishings in the room were retro yet contemporary and I loved it. Very clean and I loved the TV music being on when I first entered my room, it set the mood. Breakfast is not comped but nice that it's an option, and restaurants are nearby. All in All Great Marriott in South Florida.

This hotel is very clean. It has been updated, however there are traces of it's age here and there. I'm a bit meticulous when it comes to where I lay my head. It's very affordable and close to Pompano Beach. There's a good selection of eateries and even a small movie theater within 2 miles. Guest rooms are spacious.

After reading some of the reviews, I was hesitant about staying here, but surprisingly, the staff was friendly and courteous. I would suggest for them to tell customers about the $50.00 (per night) required deposit during check in, and change out the outdated carpet that smells like smoke. The rooms were clean, spacious, and the king size bed was comfortable. Overall, this hotel is a descent place to stay.

Nice place. (Follow up) Very impressed by General Manager Dan McDermott’s follow up and response to rating and feedback. This level of commitment towards customer service and experience is indicative of the overall quality exuded not only by Marriott, but this location specifically. Having been a long time guest of many different locations, once again my expectations were met and I highly recommend the property to anyone staying in the area.
