“This hotel is actively under renovation. Something they should be up front about before you arrive. It shows it’s age. Room was dirty with hair and dust everywhere. Carpet was wet in places with no explanation as to why. Had to have cleaners come just to feel ok with our room. Pull out in couch had nasty large stains. Had to have that removed. With renovations they couldn’t move us because they are down a floor. Breakfast was the same each day with waffles only one out of 6 days. Everything pre packaged. I stay at a lot of Marriott’s and this is one of the worst I have been in. It is just off the 55 and near the airport so it’s noisy outside not a pool oasis that pictures show. Basketball court is run down. Management offered us a handful of points for our bad stay and then never followed up or through on the promised room discount for how dirty it was. Many other hotels to choose in the area I would skip this one.”

“We stayed here four nights for our wedding weekend in October. Our wedding guest list stayed here about 38 people. We actually changed hotels to this one and it’s sister property on the same lot from a different hotel chain because these Marriott properties were so nice. Our rooms were so clean and nice and big. Perfect for our wedding activities as well was the large patio area by the pool so we could all gather during free time. It was nice having a couple lunch spots nearby. Front desk was so nice. Parking was easy but it is paid parking. I didn’t try breakfast as I cooked in the room but guests said it was nice. The grounds were nice as well and we wanted a nice hotel since all our guests traveled. We chose to all Book individually versus as a wedding block as corporate didn’t help much in making a decent rate or in explaining details of penalty if rooms were not booked so we stayed and got pretty much what they were offering me. That was corporate though so nothing to do with the local front desk. Again, they were awesome. I was right beside the elevator didn’t hear any noise. As prior reviews said, wifi isn’t great and neither is cell service. The AC was awesome in the daytime but I woke up every night in the middle of the night so hot and couldn’t sleep for hours after because the AC just cuts off at night. It just must be a energy saver thing but as far as negatives that is the only one. Not the best sleep for that stay. Bed was very nice though.”
